This module has provided an overview of systemic sclerosis. You are unique. Everyone who has scleroderma is affected differently. As stated at the beginning of this module, some of the modules on the website may contain information that does not apply to you. However, we want you to go through all the modules so you have as much knowledge as possible. The self management program contains in-depth information on different organs that can be affected, symptoms, and strategies to manage the disease. Thus, you will have information if you need it. Knowledge and self management skills help put you in control. As one person who has scleroderma said:

“I have scleroderma; scleroderma does not have me!”
